How is CBD extracted from the Hemp plant?
Big Easy CBD's process starts with growing a rich organically grown Hemp plant to extract CBD from. While it may not seem important, the different methods of how CBD oil is extracted from the hemp plant can produce highly different end products and have different impacts. The CO2 method of extracting CBD has become the most advanced, potent, pure, safe way (chlorophyll-free) of completing the process. It's also the most expensive and complex method to create CBD isolate. CBD isolates contain a pure concentration of CBD only (99+%), so it’s ideal for those who need high doses of CBD.

Yes, at the Federal level, CBD is legal in the United States for adults over the age of 18, as long as it’s derived from the hemp (not marijuana) plant, and contains no more the 0.3% THC.
What is the difference between Hemp and and marijuana?
Hemp and marijuana are not the same thing, although they’re both varieties of plants from the Cannabis genus. Marijuana contains high levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and only low levels of CBD, which makes marijuana psychoactive. The Hemp plant contains high levels of CBD content, but only 0.3% or less of THC, so it has NO psychoactive properties.
